Dog & Cat Neutering in Glasgow
Neutering is one of the most common procedures we carry out, and one of the most worthwhile for your pet’s long-term health.
Throne Vets provides neutering for dogs and cats across Glasgow and Greater Glasgow, including spay and castrate procedures. Surgery is carried out by experienced vets in our mobile vet vehicle at your home, so your pet avoids a stressful car journey and an unfamiliar clinic.
We’ll advise on the right timing for your pet, carry out a pre-operative check and use a multimodal approach to pain relief. Your pet then recovers at home, in familiar surroundings, with clear aftercare advice and support from us throughout.

Neutering prevents unwanted litters and reduces the risk of certain health problems, including womb infections (pyometra) and some cancers. It can also reduce roaming, marking and other hormone-driven behaviours. We’ll talk through the pros and cons for your individual pet.
